Portrait Illustration project

This project was to illustrate a singer that could go on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. I chose to illustrate Lana Del Ray. I used 3 colors throughout the whole illustration to give it a color block look but also still be a very detailed illustration. I thought that red fit very well with the aesthetic of the artist as well as the illustration style. I created my reference photo in Photoshop, drew the entire illustration in procreate in black and white, and then added red overlay in Photoshop
